Mouth Watering Gluten-Free Meatloaf

Mouth watering meatloaf is enjoyable at all times of the year. Meatloaf can easily be accompanied by a variety of vegetables and salads to make a complete meal. What most people don’t realize is that 100% grass fed organic red meat is a nutritional powerhouse, providing many essential nutrients not found in other foods. The source of the beef makes a huge difference in its nutritional profile. The following traditional meat loaf recipe is both mouth watering and healthy. It is sure to delight your taste buds, while also providing many important vitamins and nutrients to your body.

Ingredients for Meatloaf:

  • 2 pounds 100% grass fed organic ground beef
  • 1/2 organic yellow onion chopped
  • 1/3 cup diced organic zucchini or red pepper
  • 1 organic pastured egg
  • 1/2 cup organic tomato paste
  • 1/3 cup blanched almond flour
  • 2 teaspoon dried organic basil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon organic paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground celery seed
  • 2-3 cloves of organic garlic, minced
  • a few shakes of organic ground black pepper

Sauce Ingredients:

  • 2-3 tablespoon organic tomato paste
  • 2-3 tablespoons organic yellow mustard

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Grease an 8.5 x 11 inch baking dish
  3. Mix all ingredients in meatloaf recipe, using hands for best results.
  4. Form meatloaf into the baking dish
  5. Mix the sauce ingredients
  6. Using a spoon cover the top and sides of the meatloaf ( as shown in photo below)
  7. Bake uncovered for 45-60 minutes. Let rest for 15 minutes
  8. Cut into slices and and Enjoy!
